Job Posting: Victim Advocate Coordinator: Forensic Medical and Therapy Services

The primary purpose of the Victim Advocate Coordinator: Forensic Medical and Therapy Services position is to provide and advocacy and clinical services to child victims and their families when sexual abuse and/or serious physical abuse and witnessing violence has been alleged to the children and families being served by the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and the Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC). The primary focus of the position is coordinating forensic medical and therapy services that have been recommended by MDT members, DCAC clinical team and other partner agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field plus two years of experience in the field of children services, including sexual abuse and/or victim advocacy is required; masters preferred. Previous experience in law enforcement, social work, mental health, and/or experience as a trainer/educator is preferred.

Clinical Intake Coordinator

Job Posting: Clinical Intake Coordinator

The Clinical Intake Advocate (CIA) is responsible for conducting intakes for children and families referred to DCAC and providing case management to support family engagement in initial services and coordination of intervention activities. In this capacity the CIA works closely with advocacy and clinical services providing organizational support to link services to the continuum of care to aid service provision. The CIA will be responsible for data entry for case tracking.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Human Services or Administrative Field required or two years of experience in the field of children services and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
